I’ve read a lot of comics over the last 10 years of my life. From the obscure to the plain cookie cutter, the full of love to the full of hate, the wholesome to the macabre… but never have I read something like DOTTY’S INFERNO. Maybe if you take MAD Magazine, mix it with HEAVY METAL, and throw in TALES FROM THE CRYPT, and a dash of a really raunchy comedy film, you might begin to get close.

DOTTY’S INFERNO has a hilarious premise: a prostitute has died and entered Hell. Her job in the Circle of Lust, for the rest of eternity, is to assign jobs to new arrivals. On the more personal side, we get to see Dotty’s interactions in Hell: running into a demon you used to date, getting high on psychotropic frog slime with the Ferryman, and even rescuing Cerberus from a “kill-only” animal shelter.

If you haven’t figured it out by now, DOTTY’S INFERNO is not only for adults only, but also requires quite a unique sense of humor. If cannibalism, dick jokes, and toilet humor are not for you, stay away from this title. However, if you have a twisted sense of humor, enjoy a comic that is very far from the norm, and have no issues with content or subject matter, then I implore you to read to this title. The unique artstyle of Bob Fingerman will draw you in, and you will hopefully realize, as I did, that the world of comics is much broader than you imagined.

Adults ONLY! Read this title!
