ISBN: 9781534324824

Ages: 13+

In a post-apocalyptic future, Kaya and her half brother, Jin, cross the desert on a quest. Other than weather and lack of food, only two things stand in their way: Jin’s whining, having grown up as a Prince he isn’t used to life this hard; and the Atrians, robotic overlords who want to completely take over the world. Jin believes that one day he will live up to his destiny as ‘the chosen one’ and overthrow the Atrians with magical powers. Kaya doesn’t believe in magic, but has this amazing robotic arm that has powers that appear to be magical.

The quest was given to Kaya by her Uncle: take Jin to Monk Island, on the other side of the world, where he will learn to unlock his abilities and come back to overthrow the robots. They will definitely need help.Coming over the horizon… are the lizard riders friend or foe?

Written and illustrated by Wes Craig (DEADLY CLASS), KAYA is the start of a new saga that should entertain anyone who is a fan of fantasies like Conan or Lord of the Rings. Fast paced, vibrant, and one crazy cliffhanger should have readers coming back for more.
