In a future where Earth has seen its population dwindled by catastrophic events, mankind’s survival is left in the hands of a select few scientists from different colonies of the remaining population.
Paul Bailey is one of these scientists searching for answers to the crises of the planet. His ex, Pamela has gone missing. A recording of her has been recovered and shows her and her crew being contaminated by a deadly virus while out on a scientific mission. Paul, alongside Pamela’s twin sister Jolene, embark in pursuit of Pamela, who may or may not even be alive, chasing down clues and running into agents from an organization bent on stopping them along the way.
Andolfo, best known for her series “Unnatural” and “Mercy” is back in the writer’s seat, partnered with Goy for this post-apocalyptic romp. The two have put together an interesting story that mirrors many real-life events. Broccardo has brought his supreme sci-fi illustration skills to this series and they work especially well with this story. Readers looking to read something that will keep them on the edge of their seats and involves strange mutated monsters will rejoice in this book.
