As a prelude to Comic-Con international: San Diego, Deadline’s Hero Nation column offers profiles of 24 entertainment figures who have explored, are about to explore, or who have been attempting to explore the rich storytelling potential of the comic medium in John Carpenter, JJ Abrams Join Hollywood’s Push into Comics.
